Company History

-Date opened: March 1, 1970 as Foreign Car City, Inc. by John W. Whitaker III.
-Our name changed in January 1999 to Bob Whitaker Motors.

At age 12 in 1970 John’s son, Robert "Bobby" Whitaker, started working part time for the dealership.

Due to one problem or another, not everyone has great credit. We understand that. We listen to people. We know some problems are beyond their control. We realize that bad things can happen to good people. Bob Whitaker Motors has been a member of the Better Business Bureau for 35 years and we invite you to take a look at our history. You will find our record is impeccable. This is why 70% of our business is built on repeat customers or referrals from repeat customers. We work extremely hard to get customers approved for their vehicle financing, rather than looking for reasons to turn them down.
